As part of our continued growth, BGMT is looking for an organised and reliable Payroll & Administrative Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a dual role combining payroll support for a portfolio of clients with general office administration, ideal for a candidate who enjoys variety and can manage competing priorities. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, the successful candidate will work closely with our payroll and administrative team, with the opportunity to grow and specialise within the firm.
Duties include:

Assist in compiling and preparing fortnightly and monthly employee payslips;

Draft and submit the monthly FS5 and communicate payment reference number to the client;

Reconciliation of vacation, sick and other statutory leave on a regular basis;

Ensuring proper documentation is always kept, and digital filing procedures relating to leave balances and bonuses;

Drafting and submission of employee engagement and termination documentation with JobsPlus as well as assist in the drafting of employee employment contracts;

Draft and submit documentation pertaining to work visas to Identity Malta and liaise with the relevant authorities thereafter;

Render payroll advice to clients from time-to-time;

Perform other related duties as may be required from time to time;

Honouring service level agreements by executing the required services in the shortest time frame possible whilst delivering a service that is of the highest quality, meeting clients’ expectations;

Maintain an open dialogue of communication with clients on a regular basis and keeping clients informed on any new relevant developments within their industry and local legislation.
Requirements

A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar environment will be given priority;

An advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook;

Knowledge of payroll software such as Shireburn, Indigo and LEAP, will be given preference;

Fluency in English both written and spoken;

Candidates having an MQF Level 4 standard of education or above would be given a priority.
